My wife and I hired Burloak Movers when we moved from Burlington to Chatham. Emil did a thorough walk-through before providing his estimate. Unlike other quotes I received, Emil gave me a flat rate vs hourly which I appreciated since it was 200km+ move.
Emil called the day before to confirm that we were ready and told us that his team would be at our place at 9AM the next morning. They arrived on time and within 2 minutes they were loading the truck.
The 3 movers were very polite, friendly and professional. They also disassembled large items and carefully wrapped all the furniture in shrink wrap and blankets. They wasted no time loading the truck and delivering our possessions to our new home where they quickly off-loaded everything. They also unpacked the wardrobe boxes for us.
At one point I was moving a box to place in a different location and the lead man, Reggie, took it from me and asked where I wanted it placed. Before they left, Reggie did a walk-through with me to ensure everything was in its proper location.

Moving is always a very stressful experience no other way about it but Burloak movers made it a pleasant, worry free experience with their super hard working, knowledgeable, helpful, kind crew! Quick, easy and professional experience with this company! Martin was very responsive for quotes, details, follow ups, good pricing too (cheaper than others). The movers were there on time, worked very quickly, wrapped things that needed to be wrapped, were very polite too. Definitely the most polite, respectful, and careful movers we've used, yet very efficient at the same time. We had a great experience, zero damage, and even though our unloading situation became very complicated (unhelpful condo rules), they took it all in stride and always kept their positive attitudes and unlimited energy! Had an amazing experience with Burloak Movers. We had a bit of a complicated move, and Martin worked with us and kept things simple and with no surprise fees.
